As the title says, just some practice sketches and doodles that I've done. The roo featured here is named Kris, and I generally use him as a "test subject" so to speak when I practice. Just to clarify, Kris isn't really designed to be muscular.He's, I guess you can say, toned ish, but you can't really see abs or pecs on him. I just drew him like this, like so many times before, because I was practicing anatomy and posework and it's become a habit for me to use my favorite characters to practice with, even if that means drawing them in a way that isn't really true to their design.

I was just practicing my anatomy (as usual) and how I can translate it to poses. Specifically on this one, I was trying to see how I can do both dynamic and relaxed poses, and although they're not the best in the world (since once sketch just took maybe 3-5 minutes each) I'm rather satisfied that I can make a relatively believable pose in not too much time. I'm also trying to master drawing a pose that's chest out, stomach in yet still making the character look relaxed, and that sketch in the middle is really close to what I want, but not quite there yet. Might color this, but as of this moment I am busy having my ass handed to me in Starcraft 2. :P Fuck Terran drops to hell! XD

Oh and whenever I sketch, I always use a light grey bg since I don't really like staring at white, especially since I have a cintiq, and its big screen can just make my ocular organs derp. XD
