Whoo, I posted again. :D
So, yeah...just doodled this up when I had nuttin' to do. I'm guessing he's some sort of alien-monster thing, I dunno exactly WHAT he is.
I'm really happy on how the head and arms came out. (Yeah, I know his feet look have the exact same position..XD) I tried giving it a decent background, but it didn't come out all 'dat good. ^^;;

Sure thing, you can draw it! (I'd like to see it in your style!)
For the texture on him, I found the right one http://www.cgtextures.com/ (I used a nice photo of fish skin) To make it blend, I just screwed around with the opacity, the hue+saturation of the texture, and the layer options.

Hmm..If I remember correctly, to get he texture on the monster's skin, I copied the photo, selected the layer for the skin color in PS, and used "Paste Into" (Makes a Layer Mask, I do believe).
Then I mess with the colors, opacity and Layer Options (I think I set it on Overlay for this one...)
