Jonathan Husky is proud of UConn! (fanart)
I did make a personal dare that if the University of Connecticut in the city of Storrs (Academic: www.uconn.edu Athletics: http://www.uconnhuskies.com/) had won the national championships in basketball for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA sports site> www.ncaa.com NCAA administrative site> www.ncaa.org), then I will draw a commemorative draw for the university. It did happen-men were #7 seed in their region and were the American definition of a Cinderella story-winning it all, and the women remained undefeated all year. (British version of "Cinderella Story" is the complete opposite.)
Here is the personal dare via journals:

I did use some refs of him online like this one: http://www.bing.com/images/search?q.....electedIndex=0, but I feel that I had made a little fail-he seems a bit more wolf than husky. Intentionally, I wanted it to be exactly like the furry mascot in the previous pic, but did not do it. I did however learn thanks to many tutorials on how to shade and it did come out better- you see my draw of Jonathan with bent legs, and a near properly done chest on his jersey. The shadows were a complete flop- I was supposed to have it DARKER- not lighter than the green grass.
Anyway, it was hard too because I was using EVERY coloring method used here- marker, colored pencil and crayon. (No watercolor of any sort.) The grass did suck under marker, but I did well to show you that he is on a hillside. The hillside is the famed UConn Great Lawn (Ref: http://today.uconn.edu/wp-content/u.....great_lawn.jpg ) I did tweak the Agriculture Building and flags a little bit, and added the pathway. The right foot was tough, but I was able to do some shade so it looks more realistic and more like the mascot you see at games. Feet are tough, really!
Another thing I added is the NCAA National Championship Trophy at the lower right of the draw as the Huskies of the Lower Northeast have won 3 national championships in the 2013-14 season. (Ref: http://upsblog.files.wordpress.com/...../01/trophy.jpg) Note that I did not include anything in the window as I am showing Jonathan in his left hand a field hockey stick- UConn won their fourth championship in that sport. If they had not won, then the window will have the NCAA Basketball logo.
Lastly, I did do tracings of the logos for UConn-at left it is part of the university academic logo in marker-established in 1881, and the center & right are the sports logos-the simple "C" in crayon and the NEW husky logo in colored pencil-this one was a challenge!
Great year for Connecticut- three championships, their fourth in the men's, their ninth in women's baketball (They had an undefeated season.) and their 4th in field hockey. I give them congratulations as so far in the university's history (as of the date this draw was uploaded,) they have won 20 NCAA national championships overall-it includes the 4 championships in world football (soccer.) *I make a military salute to the school.*
For this draw, I give it a 5.3 out of 6 since there has been these mistakes I've made. I can accept critique, especially from
kievthehusky. Thanks ahead of time, for faving.

P.S.:
Camo_Husky (former mascot performer of UConn, inactive on FA), I hope you come and see this-hope you like it!
