The crescent moon over my home here in New Jersey.

The moon was one of the targets of some rather fertile imaginations that led to such things as landing on the damned thing.
Apart from the engineering triumphs (cf. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKtVpvzUF1Y for a Saturn V slow motion rocket launch that I find mesmerizing), we also got Star Trek, Star Wars, Bucky O'Hare, Star Fox, and a multitude of other space settings.
Methinks that we need a few more fertile crescents like this, yes?
