Damned nice indeed. I think we're limited to 5 rounds Centerfire in a mag/clip depending on the weapon of choice and unlimited on rimfire. So, I'd want to just get myself a 10/22 and see if I could push it out to 300yds. Anything further I would maybe just go 22Remington, or maybe 22-250. Just to kepe it small and shooting light and so on.

Geez I don't usually think about but the firearms all together about 5,000$ and then there's the ammo... Ouch. Oh and it is no problem getting any of these in California. Just new stuff that becomes a problem, I would love to have a Tavor or a Scar-H but California is lame...
We would love to go more often but we are kind of busy with work and school! We only end up going a few times a year now, Drox shoots a couple more times a year with his Army reserve unit as well.
I think it's less about politicians understanding the constitution and more them just trying to appeal to their constituents without regard for the law abiding citizens that these gun laws affect. These inane laws don't stop criminals from having serious firearms and breaking our silly laws.
