I remember the Fireball. Was it in .223, I forget the caliber. Nice looking weapon, nevertheless. I'm a Smith & Wesson man myself, I have 7, all revolvers, from .22mag up to .45 longcolt. Nothing exotic tho. The .22 mag is a mod 48, with an 8 3/8" bbl, in blue. Can't get them anymore. All the rest are model 25s with one model 610 in stainless, 10mm caliber.
Ah yes, that was a strange caliber. I bought a Smith&Wesson .22 Jet, the cartridge was a necked down .357 cartridge, and they tried to copy some of the high power, small caliber pistols/revolvers like your Fireball. It was a handsome gun, but it had a problem, that when fired, the cartridge would back up against the shield, and prevent the cylinder from turning. The cure for that was to completely clean the cylinder from all oil, grease, fouling etc. but I still had problems with it, that and also, there was a problem in finding the .22 Jet ammo, so I sold it. Should have kept it, it's worth quite a lot today, checking the gun papers. Anyway, good luck with your Fireball, it looks like a lot of fun to shoot. The biggest handgun I ever owned was a .50 cal Desert Eagle, which when I fired it, I couldn't hit the target, the recoil was so strong. So I sold that piece right away and got a .45 long colt revolver.
