Like the title says, it's me! ^.-.^ My big black-striped golden self, StarSeeker Tyushai'yana Tigeress! (If anyone is wanting to know, my middle name is actually my draconic spirit name. It's my native language for "Little Queen." It's pronounced tye-oo-shy-yaw-naw)
I hope you all can tell I'm not pure gold (and that I'm biped). I'm gold with a slight orange tint to my skin (yes, skin. No scales on me). And the upper part of my crest is metallic blue (and it's not furry. It's skin, with cartilage holding it up)
Eek, you can't see my necklace very well! Oh well. I'll draw a more detailed drawing of it sometime soon. It's suppose to be a silver dragon holding a large opal (the same color as my horns). And my eyes are suppose to be olive green with hazel speckles. I probably shouldn't have shrunk this down so much. ^.-.^;;
Heh, somewhere in the middle of my tail I just quit smoothing out the black in my stripes. Oh well!
Oh, and no, those two different-colored stripes, especially the pink one on my neck, is not a tattoo. And my claws are violet (no, they're not painted). The main jewel on my forehead is an emerald and the two jewels on either side are topazes. These are what I used to enhance my magick.
Eck, I'm horrible at backgrounds. But I do like the idea I was putting forth with it. ....And I have no clue why it looks like I'm standing in a pile of poo. o.-.O;
Let's see. Well, on my world (which is called Koryan), I'm a dragoness who's Queen by rank, but a HalfBlood by blood. Reason why I'm HalfBlood is cuz I'm half dragon, half tiger drake (no stealing of my tiger drakes! *snarls*). Normally that would've made me a Dracon, but normal Dracons can't breathe fire and produce elemental magick, which I can (I have Earth and Fire magick, and a bit of Light magick). But since I do have drake in me, I'm smaller than normal Queen dragons, which can be 200' in length and height (I'm still figuring out how big I am).
My necklace is not a normal necklace. The pearl actually holds the Goddess of Light (which means I have part of her soul in me. This is where I get my Light magick). It's a long story of how she ended up inside a large pearl.
What else....well, personality-wise, I'm quite friendly. Just don't get near my food. *snarls* I'm quite protective of it. I can also be a bit stubborn (my sign is Taurus, after all. ). But don't worry, I don't bite....often. ;D
Oh, and I know something is wrong with my hindleg. I know this.

Great work! The entire upper body and head look flawless. Nice attention to detail with the shading. You carried through with it even all the way to the tip of your tail. >^.=.^< The background is also quite unique.
I also like the little "me! ^._.^" at the top left of the pic. :p Cute, lol!

Heh heh, I actually meant to erase that on the top! :P Glad I kept it, though. And originally the background wasn't meant to look like a blue sky with the sun on top. It was originally gonna look like Nevada's beautiful sunsets...but that horrible disease called Lazyness hit me. ^.-.^;;

Heh, yeah ^.=.^;; I kept moving it up to the top for some reason, but i though it only showed up on the artists message board as one fav, but i kept moving it to the front of my favorite cuz i like it...sorry bout that, didnt mean to inundate you with messages ^.=.^;;; I like the colors especially, gold is a pretty color for a dragon, and orange draws attention to the prettines of the gold

I should seriously start thinking about drawing my other seasonal colours. My original colours - golden-orange- is actually my summer colours. I have yet to draw in my autumn, winter and spring colours. :) And in my winter colours, I have fur! ^.-.^

I must admit it really a beautifull picture of you, it seems to stand out a lot from other drawings certianly has that feel to it.
youve must of spent quite a bit of effort as the colour shadings beyound anything i have seen.

And yes, I do spend a lot of time with my drawings, I don't like to rush...most of the time. And I've taught myself how to do lighting and shading. ;)

Thanks. ^.-.^ I guess my dragonself is rather colourful (she does have seasonal colours too, that I must get around to eventually). :P I wasn't really going for the crouched pose, but the paper is only so big... But I thought the star background was kinda clever. :P
