Not sure why I think he's an Air Dragon, but he just kinda looks like one, doesn't he?
This one is drawn on one of my notebooks from work. Isn't it strange how drawings tend to come out better on things that are not your artbook? XD
Now, the drawing of that wing extended towards the viewers, all I gotta say is that that was inspired by :thundermaster: herself. I did not think of that myself. Thanks to her, I can draw wings extended in that fashion.
Sure has a lot of whiskers, don't he? I love the gargoyle I drew. I never drawn one before, and this one looks awesome.
This will be coloured hopefully soon!

Wow, another person looking in my Scraps! :D
Yeah, I was gonna leave it here until I picked it up again and started colouring it, but I never did...I'm thinking of redrawing it and colouring it, but I don't think I'll be able to make those lower wings like that ever again. :P I totally love the lower outstretched wings. I've never done wings (especially feathered) in that sort of pose before.
Heh, if I could find them, you should see how much detail I used to put into my really old drawings! o.-.o I've had dragons with hundreds of little scales, all individually coloured and tipped with another colour (like black with silver tips), or some with so many patterns it'd make the most colourful and exotic bird around muted and pale. :O
Now I don't get into detail like that anymore now that I've discovered lighting/shadowing, and trying to put in lighting and shadowing with hundreds of patterns would wear my patience down. :P

It's a commonplace occurance in artists - or so I noticed - to gradually go from carefully and lovingly rendering each individual work to taking more time-effort efficient approach, becoming reluctant to go into extensive detailing until the image's pretty much shaped out and leaving obviously flawed pictures behind.
I guess it's like up older and losing your pink windscreen world perception thing ;3
