I know it was Shark Week last week (when I first posted this), but it's still close enough.

A while ago  thornacious gave me permission to use Nerina in a pic that I'd wanted to do for a while. I sketched it out, considered it the most awful thing in the universe, and stored it away indefinitely in my sketch drawer.

Sometime later, I remembered my attempt, and tried again using only Gimp (never a good idea for me, as I've learned and you may have noticed). It's still around somewhere, but it's trash and not even entirely done.)

Later still, after I'd finished a commission for Thorn, I re-remembered and tried a third time, sketching this time. It wasn't as bad as the Gimp version, but still not good enough.

I then look back at the first version and realized: it was never really as bad as I thought, it just needed some adjusting. So I went in and erased all the parts I didn't like, and redrew them with the anatomical knowledge I've gained since then. I fixed up Shep's head and legs in the first panel, and the head, legs and the point Marina kisses him at in the second. I liked it, colored it, and now uploaded it. AND I'M STILL NOT DONE!

The aftermath of this comic didn't fit on this sheet and took up an entire other sheet, which still has to be colored and uploaded.
