I enjoyed this story, though I did a lot of skimming.

See, the biggest problem was you put too much detail into the beginninh, and then barely any during the end. Being a writer as well, I can understand it gettjng tiring to do that after a while, so...thats what breaks are for.

Also, just a little notice, if people are reading this they probably already know what a pokemon looks like just by the name, no need for long descriptions unless there's something that makes them different from normal ones. And if they don't know, google images is a thing.

Just some constructive criticism~ I liked this quite a lot.
