The Night Eyes do not tolerate any deviance from the path as Surano has been made to learn the hard way.

SO. I tried a new thing with this. I did the initial lining on one layer and the flats with minimal shading on another. Then, I merged the layers and worked to blend the lines all on one layer.

How does it look? It takes forever, but it looks exactly like what I wanted with my coloring and shading style.
