Hallowbright never really made its way to FA, and that's because it started on Soundcloud before I had made an official account here. Actually, there was a phase where I had music here that preceded Hallowbright, then I kinda forgot about my old Fur Affinity account and went off to SC to post the songs from this "album". Unfortunately, they aren't there anymore, since I have a pretty tight minute limit there.

SO! This song! Storyline-wise, the Hallowbright had a pretty big role to play up until The Wayward Seers. Even then, the main villain of that whole deal was a "Hallowbright". The Hallowbright are these pixie people who were essentially stamped out by bad dudes: the Psychoblast. Seeing as how they had a tiny role in The Wayward Seers (Palace of Dreams), I decided to fit reference to said tiny role into this song. Probably shouldn't have, since it was a bit of a stretch... bloody... thumbnail is horribly not centered by the way.

Hallowbright was like the "attempt" at my part to make a song sound retro. I failed initially, but then I decided to go against that and stay with my style. Whatever that means. xD

The premise of Hallowbright was rainbows, fairies, and unicorns. Happy stuff. Whereas it had three alternatives: The Psychoblast, who were dark, gloomy, and crooked looking. It had the Coralborn, who were undersea dwellers comprised of multiple species. Then it had the Skybound, made up of the skywisps of whom I've drawn a little bit of! The more I make Skybound songs, the more I realize Hallowbright is not too far off from them.
