They took it off for fixing when they detected the glitch, and until it's fixed they're using hypnotic music.

This is one mighty nice sequence there
Also i have to admit this is one of my favorite, yet very rarely used "things" when it comes to rubber suits / mind control. I adore such a turn of events, when the victim suddenly realizes the situation and tries to fight it - of course in vain. A move like that can really widen the spectrum of emotions within a sequence or story - going from calm and mindless into panic / denial / anger and so on...
You caught that really well here - the sequence is a closed whole, starting and ending at the same point almost. Also the end panel is really cute with the dish-sweeping there.

And it's true that without some form of resistance or other adversity, any story would become extremely dull.
