This here guy is based on a concept i've had for years now xD

The tech he's wearing is a set of Gecko-Boots and Gecko-gloves. So named because the pads on the fingers and toes are based on the technique Geckos use to stick to surfaces - many little microscopic ridges that hook onto stuff. With this, the pads are a kind of smart plastic that can deform into ridges and back again.

Couple this with a powered exoskeleton to give you that much extra strength and you've got the ability to stick to and jump off of the sides of buildings like some kind of mentalist =P

The concept I have built up sees these guys as kind of like racers/skaters/parkour enthusiasts. They're awesome and stylish, and some make it big and get sponsored and have really sweet equipment - in return for racing televised across the skies of a supercity. Still others can only afford a few basic pads and have to climb under their own strength.

The exhaust pipes are there to look awesome, but realistically, I guess the pads need some form of power - pipes are there to get rid of the waste maybe? =P

Robes cos everyone likes to expose a lot of fur, and they look cool when flying through the air. And of course goggles for jumping through the air =P
