It's been a long while since I've been to that zoo, it felt kinda small at the time but do you think going to the Bronx zoo is worth the admission?

I think so! Seeing the bears, lions, tigers, pythons, etc. was WELL worth it to me, and it really is beautifully maintained. Some of the attractions (e.g. the 4D Ice Age "ride") are okay, but nothing is better than seeing a live animal. :) It's a big zoo, too, and even we didn't see EVERYTHING there in one day! What do you think, Comus?

Sounds like a fun time, if only I lived in that area to make it a day trip.

It's pricy - around $33 for a "Total Experience" ticket (vs. $17 for general admission) - but yes it's worth it; the price includes admission to all the rides and "special" exhibits that otherwise you'd have to pay $5 extra for each. Details at bronxzoo.org

You can save a couple of bucks over what they charge at the gate if you buy a ticket online, or go on Wednesday, their "pay what you wish" day. Also, bring lunch or some snacks with you, 'cause just like every other venue you pay to get into, food inside is on the expensive side.

Not sure if I want to ride home on the NYC subway looking like a 'gator... I think the only way I'd do it is if it was Halloween or we were driving from the zoo to a furmeet.

You should of let Komos switch the paint with a Circe brand paint. That would of liven up the zoo soo much more
