step 12- Make sure "blush" is locked, and return your brush's hardness to 100%. Make a new layer, set it to multiply, and name it "cream". This layer is going to be the "shading" for Pandy's white fur. Technically, it's a new color but I consider it the beginning of his shading. Like the others, I use the polygonal lasso to select the areas I want shaded in. The socks and part of the shirt, while white, will not be shaded with this. (I don't feel cotton and fur have the same color shading. Really, look at a kitty or something and then at a sock. Not the same shading.
