EERAY||EERAYS or EERAIS for plural~
I N F O
► Fast swimmers.
► Their ''wings'' are fins! Let's just call them fin-wings~ these fins make them capable of pulling
sharp turns underwater.
► They're omnivorous.
► Eerays do not have gills. They surface periodically to exhale and inhale a fresh supply of oxygen.
► Their speed is their main defense against predators, they normally don't get caught.
► If they're in a pinch, they will use their tail to swap the predator away or,
also, wrap their tail around and constrict to suffocate it. (ex: anaconda)
► Even though they're mainly aquatic creatures, they are totally capable of living on ground--
ONLY if they don't get exposed to sunlight for a long period of time with out keeping their skin humid.
Sunbathing is a no-go.
► Sluggish on land due to their massive tails which consists of mostly fat and muscles.
(Imagine carrying a large snake around..)
► They have tough skin. Sometimes Eerays may have scales in some areas of their body as well,
although its not too common but not too rare either.
► If their wings are large enough, they can glide from a higher place to a lower one.
(but not for too long..)
► They're mammals. Eerays do not lay eggs.
► They can mate with other species, but unable to breed aside from their own kin.
► Losing their fin-wings is a huge loss for them since they become way slower underwater,
being easy pray for large predators.
Most Eerays who lose a fin (or both) stick to corals or live on land to stay safe.
