Created by a rival criminal organization from Professor Fuji's stolen research diaries, project 'Ikaros' created 20 clones of "Lesser Mewtwo" by redistributing the potential psychic prowess of the original Mewtwo into features that would make the specimen more manageable in captivity, focusing mainly on physical prowess.

This kind of additional tampering with the already perplexing genetics of the MewTwo resulted into wild hybrids of reptile and feline appearance with traits of a Dark/Fighting types of Pokemon.

However the organization viewed the 20 clones as flawed as they all manifested individual personalities and traits instead of being perfect clones of one another, thus it was decided that the clones were to be pit against eachother in a deathmatch to determine the finest specimen which would serve as a template for a new patch of clones.

The science team responsible for the creation and upbringing of the 20 clones viewed such decision outrageously immoral and out of sympathy sabotaged the holding facility but only just a little too late. By the time all power went out, only one single clone had survived the battle royale and managed to escape in the chaos.

Ever since then the "last Icarus" Is still at large.
