Inspiration for this came from a song last week, and I couldn't get it out of my head. I knew when I had the image in my head that it would be my most detailed, most difficult and best work to date. One week later, and fifteen hours of work (estimated), here it is. =3
I didn't assign any particular meaning to this, so I'll allow you to figure that out for yourselves. This piece was mostly supposed to convey a mixture of feelings, from unsteadiness to tranquility.
The most difficult part? Getting everything to scale with the extreme perspective. I think that came out fine though. =3
Everything was done without reference except for the various photos for the uniform. The road texture was partially from CG textures, partially my own. I attempted adding textures for the buildings, but everything I tried seemed unnatural. Perhaps something to experiment with in the future. =D

The picture was enough cool to put it in my recent LJ post, he-he. You did the great jon with textures, 'cause some artists put all hightlights and shadows right, but the textures are the same on their pictures, you did the fur, walls and clothes right. The muzzle is still cartoony, but it's your style, anyway. Perspective is cool, don't know is the character on it right, but it works, I think. One of the best pictures of you.^.^

Every character in this drawing is completely made up on the spot. Some people interpreted the otter on the right being Temiree, but that isn't him.
I am working on my facial features a bit. The muzzle is still a bit cartoony, but I'm getting better.
