(From Easter)
It’s been a awhile since I did my version of Alice and white rabbit spoof from last years. For my friends who know about these two..the black rabbit’s name is FRIDAY.
My white rabbit is a black one who has history of violence and warfare.
Poor kid. Friday is only a teenager but has had to fight his whole life.

this is an early work I did of Friday in his berserk mode. This terrifies Alice as she tries to brave his wrath by attempting to snap him out of it.
Friday considers himself a horrible person because he is made to fight to the death. He often tries to push Alice away at the same time cling to her.
As his best friend Alice is not going to lose Friday to his torment without a fight.

Bass, I assure you that your work has been dearly missed! And since you know that I'm fully aware of the history behind these two characters, you can imagine how captivated I am to see them portrayed in such a poignant light. =D
The dark navy color palette (just a step above black, it seems) works well with this scene, and seeing Friday with such a mournfully quiet expression--eyes closed--is a nice complement to Alice's tearful fervency--eyes open.
On another note, I absolutely adore Friday's pudgy build; especially from the side, since his water-lore tattoos accentuate his tummy. ^^
