I love salmon!! *squees* Err ... hang on. *composes self*
I love almost all types of fish. Add in some Asian flair and ... BAM! ... I'm happy and the house smells soooo good. Easy recipe, but oh so yummy. I have to get a huge fillet of fish to satisfy one of my guinea pigs. With salmon I enjoy lightly salting the skin. I don't normally use salt in my cooking, but it's a habit I got into. 2lbs of fish is a lot to feed 3 people, but as much of this as he eats ... eeesh. Then again we tend to fight over the salted skin ... anyways, give it a try and let me know what you think!
Ingredients:
1/3 cup Orange Juice
1/3 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Honey
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Ground Ginger
1 1/2 - 2 lbs Salmon fillet
Optional - Red pepper flakes
Optional - salt
Mix everything but the fish together in a bag or flat bottomed tupperware.
If in bag, squeeze as much air out as possible, and lay the fish flat in the fridge for 30min.
If in a dish, place in fridge for 15min, flipping the fish, and marinating for another 15min.
Lightly (someone got heavy handed with the oil in this pic) oil a baking sheet and sprinkle a little salt where the fillet will go. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25min until done, or grill 8-9min per side (lightly salting the skin) until done.
ENJOY!!
