So for this character, I was asked to do a dual bladed lightsaber that was split in two purposefully lol. Like it can separate and become two if the character wishes. To best show this, I wanted a visible representation of him separating the blade where you can see the coupling that holds them together. A light side and a dark side to the same character. Was rather fun experimenting with light sources in this one!
If you would like one of these, please see this journal for more info: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5693672/
Just make note on whether I am taking orders or not before posting your form!
Enjoy everyone!

What if you made the character its own layer before adding the saber light? Then overlaying it so you could tweak the forground and background lighting seperately after the saber light was in place? Also, creating the trace and cutting the character off the background would give you a crisp edge for the saber light to work with.
I'm probrably full of it and don't know what I'm talking about... but my mind likes to solve problems like that... :P I don't mean to tell you how to do your art! I hope it turns out great no mater what you end up doing. :)
