Star grinned at the lad sat across from her. She had feigned ignorance when he had challenged her to a game of poker, as he had joked with her, saying it was a mans game and no place for a lady of her moral standing, At which they had both laughed and she had taken him up on the offer of learning how to play.

She had pretended that she knew nothing about the game. She had started off slowly repeating the rules of the game as he taught them to her, losing to him at first but as the game had gone on longer and longer she found herself unable to keep up the charade and soon was wiping the floor with the hapless lance corporal.

She was enjoying toying with the lad and watching him squirm as first she stripped him of his share of the poker chips then began bartering with possessions and promises to exchange shifts of clear up duties in the mess hall. it was all in good fun of course and she'd most likely return his wrist watch and phone to him a little later. Of course he currently didn't know that she was planning on doing this and the look of worry on his face made her giggle.
