Well unlike a building, a macro is a living creature. An armor piercing round from a modern tank's gun would probably go through a building with minimal damage. But in a macro, there are vital organs. This round would tear the insides up.

Now use a HEAT round, it will penetrate, then explode, causing massive damage. A HEAT may not blow down a building, but it probably will blow out a huge part. And for a macro creature, that huge part missing is not exactly good for their health.

But this is all speculation. I don't think a tank has ever shot at a giant furry so there is no telling what a tank shell would do to one lol.

I have loved the military since I was a young child, and the same with macros. Combining the two together pleases me much, but I find the side of the Solder fighting the Macro to be more immersing.

This was a separate story. My first completed story ever, actually.

I wonder how the animals got so huge. And it's interesting to see "feral" giant animals, rather than speaking ones.

There never was an explanation, at least to me. It was a very spur of the moment story, a sort of response to what I thought of the state of the macro fandom at the time.
