Wow, I like that :D How did you upload this gif? Everytime I try to upload a gif, it either says the file type is wrong or the image ends up just staying still...

You have to convert the .gif to .swf otherwise, FA won't let you upload it. I learned this the hard way xD

There are a variety of flash converters you can download. Just google up "Shockwave flash converter" and they should come up. Look for ones that will transfer .gif or .mov to .swf

How much would you charge for an icon like this? maybe with different colored flames?

My base charge for animated blinking icons is $40. In this case, the particle effects like the embers and highlights add another $10 because I can template it from my own.

I saw your forum post from 2 years ago, looks like the icon size limit isn't going to be changed any time soon, if ever. Do you have any tips on getting animations compressed down to fit?
