Around Spring of last year, I designed an album cover for the Armada Trance mix compilation series. It was part of a contest to simply design a new album cover.

I played around with the Armada logo and wordmark, and using the 3D Extrude & Bevel feature in Adobe Illustrator. I also did the word, "TRANCE" in a font I created myself (but only for the letters in that word). The background is a photo I took at an MBTA Silver Line station in Boston. I fiddled with the colors in that photo till I felt it would work as the background.

My design didn't get chosen, but I still had fun doing this.
