Yep I finished coloring it ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1340396/ ) ... I like it better now, but part of me still wishes I kept the characters in a monotone sort of look. Ummm what to say... I was practicing drawing expressions (cause I haven't done that in a while), and jokingly, I drew Jason (left) and Sean (right) yelling, "ANGST!" at each other. Funny I thought so I drew it again only not so jokey. though this picture does make me giggle at the thought of them yelling angst at each other. I finally feel like I know what to do with my art next now. Just going to work with my mediums, maybe add something new every now and then.
What I really like about this picture is how I made Sean's fur in some places stand up (cause when a cat is scared/mad they usually puff there fur up), I don't know it sort of emphasizes how mad he is. Jason tummy I really like just cause it looks so round, it looks like he has a gut XD. Theres still something I don't like about it... like I messed something up (anatomy?), or I didn't add something.. oh well still like it.
lawls I showed this to my older brother and he said, "Why is that guy wearing a mesh top? Ashley your art better not be turning 80's" then I started singing the beginning song from Jem.

Jason kinda does look like he a belly lol it's because of the round lighter shade. I really like how this looks now that it's colored, i like how the colors are dark it really brings out the brighter colors! How did you get the splatter effect without getting any on the figures btw i forgot to ask on the last post...
all I did was put a washcloth over both the drawings, chose one color (did the red first) then went splatter crazy! While the watercolor was still damp, I put a light wash around the character, so the splatter and wash would blend together. and thats how it was done : )
