I still wish there was an option to stay with her forever

The first time I played through the demo, I had no idea what I was supposed to do. At first, I thought I was supposed to let her win, so I did, that didn't work. Then, I thought "Well, I guess I have to kill her." I did, and I hated every second of it. Then, I was informed by my beloved that you were supposed to let her go, or that you at least could, so I did. Then the goddamn evil flower comes out and berates me, and even tells me I only replayed it and didn't hurt her because I felt guilty, which is in point of fact exactly what I freakin' did. I don't think I'll ever play that game ever again because I am freakin' terrified of it.

It gets worse. If you pay attention to various snippets of dialogue, apparently Flowey had the ability to "save" and "load" just as you did, but once the protagonist arrived, they lost that power, and they can only remember things between saves. The child's DETERMINATION is overriding Flowey's. I can see the game actually playing on this as another subtle mechanic. If the protagonist goes through a story event of enough emotional impact, their determination might waver, allowing Flower (or other powerful individuals) some kind of sway over the meta narrative.

I can't wait to see what Toby Fox does with this.
