Aaand we're finally live with some (actually adoptable now) adoptables! I really enjoyed the chance to roll back on some old color and design fun with these guys, and am pretty happy overall with the turnout! Stuff's still up in the air, but for those interested, I have a little loose information the hexyvern species as it is so far:

First and foremost, they come in two distinct varieties: a sort of "full" ridable size (probably level with horses at the shoulder, but this could vary) and much tinier "purse puppy" sizes. The larger types are intelligent enough to be considered sapient and may even possess the ability to communicate or articulate with other beings, while the smaller ones behave more like very clever dogs or pets.

Secondly, I'm pretty sure that they're open to color and/or pattern influence in utero/the egg via some kind of ESP vulnerability, so those that look like X or Y were very likely modeled after such by the thoughts of other sapients in development. This could probably be chalked up as some kind of weird magical sense or something, but I just wanted to make sure there were at least tentative reasons behind their vastly differing hides.

They're also quite omnivorous and have highly dextrous, sensitive (non-weight bearing) forelimbs that can do everything you'd expect of a human hand, or possibly even more. Also sexual dimorphism is minimal or non-present, so buyers can decide the sex and gender in any way they like. And that's about it for now!
