I really, really adore the lighting in this and the way the colors are subdued but still have a lot of contrast to draw the character out of the background. Not to mention that the details in her sari and the jewellery in her hair is lovely. I also think that having her doing her hair up is a really nice touch too and adds a bit of a calm but focused demeanor to the image- creates an interesting composition with her hands as well. =D
