Hah, I just did that recently in one of my journals, and the funny part is that I've been her for almost two years now!

Yay, sounds like I might get lucky if I get closer... *sits next to you* lol, I'm jokeing. Any way, it's really great art. What do you start off with any way? An ink, picture, or just did that on the fly?

I started off with just a sheet of computer paper and my pencil. Then after I sketched it out, I inked it with a normal ballpoint pen. After a quick scan, I opened it in a program called the GIMP and cleaned the lineart a bit, then switched to Sai to color it.

Funny part is, my older brother challenged me to draw a snarling wolf at a 3/4th overhead view. I began sketching, and it turned into this! *Laughs* Even though it's a snarling wolf-thing, I failed the 3/4th view.

By the way, your avatar reminds me of Kill Bill because of the yellow shirt. XD

I didn't make my av. I croped it from a bigger picture and then edited it to make it look like a tiger. (it looked like a leperd on the pace but every where else on the body looked like a tiger.) I wish I could do that but I don't have a scanner, so I stuck to camura... D:

With a camera, you can still fix it up to where you can color the lineart. Just take a nice, mostly clear picture of the drawing you want to color, then open it up in PhotoShop. Duplicate the background layer, then go to Filters>Colors>Color to alpha and choose a color that's close to what color the paper turned out to be. Then make a new layer and fill it with white, drag it underneath your lineart layer, and BAM, lineart nice and ready to color. :3

HOLY CRABCAKES!! This is the most amazing picture of Mutant Serpentina I've ever seen. Serousily. The coloring is phanominal! I reallylike the way the hair on her back works with the spikes it flows so nicely. OMG look at all the scales! :Gotta love those big smexy paws X3

Thanks Roxxie! I've been getting more accustomed to Sai lately. :3 This was the first time I actually colored hair to look kinda spiky, and to go with spikes too. XD Paws are teh secks, aren't they? <3

Sadly, all we got was lots of rain and tornado watches, but nothing really severe... The only times I actually ever had tornadoes go by my house what in Kentucky when I lived out in the country in a trailer. One went right in front of my place, with huge hail the size of baseballs. XD The sky was really green before it too, then all of a sudden it turned blacker than midnight. Lightning strikes everywhere, loud, harsh gusts of wind, GAWD it was phenomenal. <3

fists of all that pose Serp is in is just so cool, i know for a fact that postion is hard to pull off, but man u did it! I jsut love her big paws <3 tey may be big and floofy but they can tearthru metal XD. I jsut love her fur ^^ especially her mane <3 its so sexy looking, and it goes so nicel;y with the spikes, I can jsut stare at it all day ^^.... now i cant forget about her cute bouncy floofy ears! they look so cute and floofy i jsut want to bite them :3 *cries of joy* thats TAIL!!!!!!!<3 OMG u made her tail so fuckign sexy! and i love that scale detaisl. and that CURVE! srsly that tail is jsut beautiful.
now for the bg DAMN!! I fuvkihn love the explosion, the color is jsut WOW,its realyl nicely blended too, evne i cant really figure out how to amke a nice explosion like that, and the color of the sky OMG you got it jsut like i pictured it, it lookes so gloomy and full of radation! the fallout shelter looks nice aswell and it blends nicely with the bg, despite its a fallout shelter it looks really cie :3 I wouldnt mind living there foreverz :3
