It was only recently started up (about 2-3 months ago), so it's got a long way to go still, and the site has yet to be built. I was given a very rough estimate of around 1-2 years or so development time, so I'm afraid I can't give you any more details with regards to its ETA!
As for the game itself, it will be similar in design to Dungeons & Dragons/Pathfinder, I believe, although it will be a d10 system, not d20, and the developers are hoping to create a streamlined system in which it's fast and easy to create characters, and run spontaneous, on the spot campaigns/sessions - something fast and easy for anyone to pick up and play immediately, not just experienced PnPers. I also think they're hoping to have less dice-rolling and extremes than D&D, as they felt too much randomness punishes players.
As for the world/flavour, the developers want to break out from the standard "human, elf, dwarf, halfing, orc, etc." fantasy races, and create unique ones for players to explore, and intend to offer a wide variety of campaign settings.
Keep in mind it's REALLY early in development, and ideas are prone to change! I'll link to a website as soon as it's made :)

Yeah, I believe at least two of the races being worked on are basically animal-people (one is a bit more neko-style "human with animal parts" while the other is a bit more "anthropomorphic animal"), but it's not really up to me what races are designed, as I'm not on the development team. I just draw what they tell me to XD
No, to my knowledge, my posting of the two bestiary images and this journal entry was the first time Endless Realms has been mentioned publicly anywhere by anyone.

I'm actually not sure. Lemme ask!

I'm told that the classes will be a mix of both familiar and new concepts, but that the innovation really is in their skill system, which they promise to be different from any other PnP. I'd ask for an explanation, but that's probably considered a spoiler at this point ;)

I mean, a spoiler for the public. The developers are pretty secretive about stuff at this point, limiting game testing and who is privy to details of the system to pretty much only themselves. I don't actually know how the system works, for instance, or even what the main stats are, only that it's a d10 system with the goal to be fast and easy.
How do you design the monsters when they can't even tell you how their stat block will work?
"This creature will have a high strength stat, if such a stat exists, but its intelligence score is low, unless there is no such thing as an intelligence score."
That sounds like a big pain in the butt to me...

I'm just given rough note-form suggestions. Like, here's what I got for the Congar.
Gorilla Cat
large
cat family
carnivore, forest or jungle
fearsome, powerful-looking
gorilla-like arms, walk/run on knuckles
normal cat body and cat facial features
long pointy ears with tufts like lynx
mane going down either side of body
a few white stripes somewhere on it
fur your choice
90% of my assignments look just like this. A few of them are a bit more detailed with developed concepts in mind. Like "Make him look like he's de-evolving" or "The spikes on the arms are going to be its weapons", but usually it's mostly like the example above.

I don't expect to get any more information really at all, except maybe when the manuals actually start getting produced. As for being alllowed to share it, the developers would prefer details to be kept secret, it possible, as they would like their ideas to remain as original as possible, and are concerned about theft (hence the big watermarks and lack of monster descriptions, for instance).
Thanks! Lemme copy-paste from a previous comment...

Yeah, I think at least from a marketing point of view, aiming to be accessible to any/every player (including those who maybe shied away from DnD in the past for being too complicated, for instance) is a smart move, as well as trying to offer something new/different as far as races go.
Ohthankgod (RUNS)
Nice to see you back and being paid to do what you love, by the way :3 You continue to be one of my favorite artists of all time and I love seeing what you create! ...Also... I realize... I've been creepily stalking your art for... at least four years now, both on DA and here o_o I'm both sorry and I'm not xD

Heh, yes, it's really nice. I mean, everyone hates their job once in a while, but I'm still always thankful that I'm able to do what I do well enough to support myself and my fiance :) Also, thank you kindly, that means a lot, and is (probably) totally not creepy at all, haha <3
Someday I will have a job that I truly love as opposed to one that I merely tolerate. I mean, I'm only 23. There's still time (I hope). Anyway, pointless ramble is pointless, but it's on my... not really a bucket list, but just a general list of things that will happen someday... to finally own a print of yours, hopefully of something I commission. That would be so awesome!

That is an excellent question. At this point, probably one of my inner kitten self and her weregryphon form. I don't really have a fursona, see, but I've always imagined having a inner feline who responds to life in the outrageous ways I can't; i.e. poofing of the tail when angered or frightened, hissing at people I don't like, etc. I blame the fact that for a long time when I was little my only friend was my cat xD
Either that or of the human version of my character Stray out in the middle of the desert among ruins of some ancient collapsed city.
