A pre-launch photo of a Guillow's catapult-launched polystyrene foam glider bought from a salvage bin at a craft store. It has been modified to ride on this long BT-60 sized carrier rocket. The composite vehicle separates at apogee and the glider returns to Earth in free flight. The scratch-built carrier rocket has been in use over 30 years. The combo has been lofted on Estes B6, C5, C6, D12, and Aerotech D9 RMC motors.
