(Please note ahead that the pic is sideways, and that I am not holding him funny)
This is Ritz, me little song bird (aka: common house sparrow) he/she (don't know sex until feathers come in all the way) is a little rescue who fell out of a nest in the eve of our condo 3 stories up, we were gonna put him/her back in it's nest, how ever! Again it was 3 stories up, and in an eve covered with flashing, so in order to place him/her back into their nest, I might be causing a death sintence by scaring off mom and dad for good by pealing back the flashing.
So there he/she is now, I am rasing the little one, I do NOT plan on keeping him/her as a pet and will give him/her the option to fly away once I know he/she can care for their self.
I will give him/her the option to leave dayly, by if the little one stays out of it's own free will, I am more than happy to keep feeding and caring for the little thing.
I know it's wrong if I keep him/her, but if the little one wants to stay, it's up to it. So if I end up stuck with the little one for good, don't be mad and judge, he/she has the option once it is old enuf. If he/she chooses to stay, then I am more than happy to care for the little sweet Ritz Cracker bird.
