Private Commission for 
belaneth
Water, always a challenge. This is the third in a series of four elemental horses I'm doing for a very kind patron. It began with Ignis (fire), continued with Aura (wind), and here is Aqua (water)! She is based of the Norwegian Fjord horse… with some minor alterations. XD
Next up I tackle the final horse, Terra (earth) for whom I'm using a Percheron as reference. It'll be a grand.
Watercolor, ink, colored pencil and silver paint pen on 9"x12" bristol board.
