Not sure what to say about the rest, I have no idea who your friend is or why my skunk makes you think of a ferret. >.<

Skunks & ferrets are from the same superfamily, I think?

Hence why they're both kinda weasel-ish.

You can see that "weasely" resemblance in this picture.

I thought, "OH, this character's mustelid expression is adoooorrable!" ...& then thought, "oh hey, that cute face reminds me of Kovu." ;w;

To get to the point, your character is cute. Just like a ferret.
