different spelling actually (there is an x there and no a) and no relations as one is a red scaly dragon and one is a golden fluffy dragon :P. amusingly there is also a green dragon from the NWN 1 game for PC that was named Akulatraxas that is also slightly spelled different than mine. both however long discovered after this character was originally made and named.

interestingly enough most actually thought this was the same name but didnt look closely enough!

Ah yes, why do so many dragons have complicated names ;)

It is just part of tradition i think. especially for some types. my mercury for example has a simpler name but i think often its a fun challenge to find a highly complex name that sounds really nice and well dragons like that kinda thing.
