As many fans have agreed, the '98 film is a HORRIBLE Godzilla movie due to the monster itself not living up to its name, but officially being a separate character, he's gained popularity as that "wannabe-Monster King" type. People have gone back to recognize that the movie is a rather decent monster flick, just a really bad Godzilla flick. The only time I ever refer to it as "Godzilla" is if we're talking the animated series.

The toys for the movie were great, though!

As an artist, Zilla is actually a lot of fun to draw. I know the movie version is a dull brown, and the cartoon version a bluish-gray, but the green here was inspired by a pet green iguana I used to have in my younger years.
