This writing was inspired by  neoyo's piece of this super cute and adorbs Loch Ness Monster found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13443718/

I saw this and felt the need to write a story about it. And I'm pleased with the result. x3 I've always liked the idea of a friendship that doesn't rely on speech and being able to understand another's language. And something on a deeper, more mutual level than an unspoken friendship with a pet.

This is also the first time I've ever written a story that has a dual perspective throughout, which probably contributed to it's length. It's just over 3200 words, which is a lot for me and makes it my biggest piece to date. So to say I'm proud with the result is an understatement.
