A deviantART group held an art jam during Halloween, and I tossed my hat in the ring. It was a choice between Ghost Godzilla or the Pumpkin Rapper (and it's obvious which one I went with).

I originally did the piece in color, but then I decided to grayscale it. I felt it looked better in b/w than color.

Ghost Godzilla is supposed to be the spirit of the original Godzilla, which has come back to fight the present-day Godzilla. This was originally to be the movie that followed GODZILLA VS. SPACE GODZILLA, but was scrapped due to being "too redundant"; they didn't want Godzilla fighting "himself" three times in a row (first Mecha-Godzilla, then Space, then Ghost).

Since Ghost Godzilla is often associated with the 1954 Godzilla, I figured that would be the jumping-on point, but I went with a far more shriveled, gangly look. Kinda had Tim Burton in mind while doing so.
