Ah I see the style you're going for, reminds me somewhat of Okami too. It's interesting, but you should try to practice single strokes. Single strokes fit this style REALLY well if you know how to manipulate a brush, however mimicking it digitally... that could be tricky and I'm not sure at all where to start. Though this has gotten me interested in trying it myself~
