On topic: It's a wonderful piece, though a Winged Argonian has always struck me as a dragon. No matter though, the pose, the style, the everything is <3

Well, according to lore the Saxhleel are split into different tribes in Argonia with each "tribe" seeming to be a different variation of the species. A sub-species if you will. The Sarpa tribe, from which Skal originates is described as being "winged" by the few non-argonians that have seen them, though it is unknown if the description was meant literally or not.

I took the concept and ran out the door with it with no intention of looking back. XD

The Saxhleel of the Sarpa tribe could very well be half-breeds/hybrids. Idk. There's no information on them as of yet. Though to call him a Dragon would still be incorrect because even though he has draconic features he's still predominantly Argonian.
