This breed is not credited to me, but recently I bought this lady from  MongooseApples So I'm trying to come up with a nice name for her..but, figured I'd at least get her posted for now.

The Arbori are ponies born with a parasitic tree on their backs. This tree feeds off of them their entire lives; Alicorns are eventually killed by their tree, of which will replant itself in the place of death. Trees of other Arboris simply die with the host. The trees can either house small animals or produce berries - sometimes both or neither at all.

They are sought after for their ancient magical knowledge and the bark and berries that their trees produce (both of which are delicious and medically valuable). Though, the Arbori are hard to come in contact with due to their distance from modern towns and their shyness.

Arbori worship the trees from fallen Alicorns as their gods (Alicorns as rare demi-gods) and they protect the forests they inhabit.
