Though I do have to ask, you know Death isn't Deadpool's main squeeze right now right? He's married to Shiklah, a demon queen right now, and they have wonderful chemistry. I do hope this works out but a lot of deadpool arcs end in tears, especially ones where the poor guy is happy for once.

True but, you're not taking into account. Wade is also a genius. As he's created his own teleportation device. Though...stability isn't the right word there. So, take into the fact, that Wade has the same level of regeneration as wolverine. If not stronger, and despite being a mental case. He's got tech toys that give Tony Stark trouble? Batman, subdues. He doesn't kill, and Deadpool, regains stamina and has no qualms killing.
So yes, Batsy is used to dealing with psychos. They're mortal for the most part. Wade is just short of immortal and unlike Batman, will use enough force to wipe out a city block. Cause he'll walk away from it.

I don't recall him ever inventing one himself, he's usually given them by various people, from Weapon X to Cable. Wade's very explicitly not a genius if you've read his comics.
Look, I love Deadpool but Batman is the end-all beat-all street level of the DC Universe. The best Deadpool could do is get away, nobody stops the Bat once he's on the hunt.
