After playing "Tales of Monkey Island", that I got from its 99 cent sale(although it's worth much more), it made me think... Being a pirate must have been awesome. Except for the maggots and rats in your food, scurvy, losing your limbs, people always trying to kill you, and being wanted in every country. It still seems like a cool idea. Being free to sail the sea, raid ships, go looting, get in tavern fights, and fight off actual organized navies. Besides, everything's better when it looks epic, drawn on a piece of paper.
