About a week later than I intended to get it done, I finally got the chance to sit down and do this! Part of an art trade with 
felineknightblayz of their character Vaughn. Sorry it's a bit darker in the photo, unfortunately I have a terrible penchant for painting late at night, so the lighting wasn't all that great. When I get the chance, I'll scan this properly (just like the many other paintings I should scan properly, ehehe).
The scene is partly inspired by a trip I took to Miette hot springs last summer (the views from there are really amazing - if you're ever in Alberta, I highly recommend a visit!).

Dude, digital art is so fricken hard, I am seriously impressed by (and enviable of) your command of it. I LOVE what you did with Milo, so hushity hush you! *face pap*
It was painted in a mixed media book, but if I can find a way of removing it cleanly without damaging the book or the painting, I'll give you a shout about mailing it to ya! :D

Texture is bomb, man. I love looking at paintings that have a massive amount of it - it makes the painting pop a bit, yanno?
And no rush on it, Johnny! I know you're not exactly in the best place for artwork at the moment, but I look forward to seeing what you come up with when you can get to it! <3
