I've had this same daydream where Isanji instead of escaping his creators was completed, originally intent on being genderless as he's a Heavy Weapons Assault Class experiment (yes he's wearing a dress), him and one of his "cousins" Kang Rui Seiichirou, a half chinese half japanese tiger are being lead to Testing Area 6. One of the highest training facilities in Aurion Inc. R&D Division, there ten more subjects are put through a harsh training course, in my head the more tests you pass the easier they make it for the survivors. Isanji somehow escapes his last battle and is given a sword.

Kang's speciality is interfacing with electronics through an altered form of telepathy thus he needs no weapons.....er..back on the subject. The two are the only ones who've survived and are joined by several other children, so suddenly the room goes dark and the test is Nighttime Combat. Sadly I pictured a bunch of little kids being ripped apart by trained soldiers and twisted experiments, but somehow the lights come back on, Isanji and Kang stand in the center of the battlefield bloody and virtually unscathed. Man...if only I could write a story like that...nothing but freakishly powerful cubs mauling their enemies like obedient soldiers.
