Yea, after one of the original storywriters left the team inbetween StarFox 64 and StarFox Adventures, he wrote a manga/comic that essentially retold the original fight against Andross and contained character development he wasn't able to put in the games. One example being that Fox was a closet homosexual, and Peppy was like one of the only people who knew. :P

Yea. It really pissed me off, because now that I look back, it was slightly implied in the actual games. They took this highly developed character with an inferiority complex due to an oedipal crush on his father that stunted his budding homosexuality, all mixed in with his emotional insecurities of being unable to meet expectations, and now he's a flat commando type who's basically "ILOVEKRYSTALILOVEKRYSTAL :D"

i still like fox though, he's the best out of the starfox team in my books!!

Yea, but you can't imagine the violent dreams I have about killing Krystal. Adventures and Armada both sucked irredeemably, in my opinion, and Armada was okay, but Krystal still ruined it. Besides, the manga implied that the reason Fox and Wolf hated each other so much was...bad romantic fling, it seemed.
