Copic markers only for this one (and ink for outlines of course). Sometimes I use polychromos pencils in combination, too.

Stocking and garters make me happy

Magnificent job of implying everything while showing precisely nothing. The face does seem a little flat, particularly in contrast to the excellent patterning and heavier shading along the shoulder and back. The tip of the tail seems like less time was spent on it as well, with some abrupt transitions but that may well be the scanner's fault. The shadowlines and spotting on the back really do take the cake, though, so it is only 'by comparison' that there's aught to critique. Splendid job on the choice of the colors in the background inset, too. They really snap up the warm greys of the fur pattern as well as making her eye and eyeshadow 'pop', and the semicircle serves well to accent her own arched pose.

As a question, what paper do you use? I use Copic markers but I always have terrible bleed issues, and your work looks miraculously smooth by comparison.

Strathmore smooth bristol! Although cardstock and some types of printer paper do the job just fine too. I prefer the thicker stuff since the art is more sturdy and ends up looking nicer.
