does it look better worse? comments of critism are appreciated but please offer good and bad points otherwise its not critism its tearing it apart :)

i did what i could..or even understand for that matter, half the things im very unsure on how too actually use but can learn by practise eh :3?
so useing layers so the lines are kept, and i tried the Dodge and burn tools but i couldnt figure out how to use them to my advantage sorry ^^; but this is what i managed to think of doing tell me what you think be appreciated for improvment ^^

Much better. I just have one more recommendation. Try using the smudge tool for the dark spots.. the light parts are fine. they way they are since it really does well for your style. as for using burn and dodge.. think of them light this.. use dodge for highlights.. if you tell it you're working with highlights.. it'll be stronger. (also play with the strength.. keep it a bit low.) and burn for shadows. it can really help blend your shadows to help with the small details.
